Yes, It's Paper!
You probably have a collection of some kind—dolls, spoons, matchbooks. I collect paper. Not ordinary paper like you run through your home printer. I collect sheet music, sandwich wrappers, technical drawings, hand written letters - anything with interesting text or pattern. I then paint and texture that paper to create a “palette” of colors. Just as a traditional painter might use acrylics, oils or watercolors to make a work of art, I use my palette of papers. Each piece is torn by hand and carefully placed in just the right spot. Take a closer look. You might find a piece of poetry or a crossword puzzle hiding in plain sight.
