Paint it, texture it, and then rip it into little pieces. That’s my job as a mixed media collage artist and it’s the best job I’ve ever had. What is the “it” that I paint, texture and rip? It’s paper, of course. Paper of all kinds: Dictionary pages, sheet music, maps, junk mail, math homework, love letters, sandwich wrappers, ticket stubs, tissue paper, handmade papers—they all make their way to my work table, where I gladly give them a new life in my collages. Every piece of paper that is included in my work has been painted, textured and torn by my own hands. Thanks for stopping by my web site to visit. Please be sure to check out my links on the sidebar. There is always something new happening here; so, don’t stay away for too long.
